SALFIT (Ma'an) -- Israeli settler security guards on Tuesday detained a Palestinian woman carrying a knife near Immanuel settlement in the northern West Bank, Israeli police said.

Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told Ma'an the woman was detained near the outer fence of the settlement, which lies between Qalqiliya and Nablus.

She was transferred to police custody and admitted in questioning to planning to carry out a stabbing attack, Rosenfeld said.

"Woman arrested in attempted stabbing attack" - who was she attempting to stab when she was arrested? How "near" to the outer fence was she when she was arrested - one metre, 100 metres, 1 kilometre? Did Rosenfeld also mention that the poor woman had psychological problems? No, didn't think so, she's just another "Palestinian terrorist" to him! She needs help, not punishment.

The woman's personal problems where mentioned by other sources, Maan didn't report it.
