JENIN (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces raided Zubuiba village west of Jenin and fired tear gas, the head of the local village council told Ma'an Thursday.

Imad Jaradat said five military jeeps entered the village and stayed at the center. The official said the soldiers sparked clashes by firing tear gas canisters toward homes.

Three Palestinians were taken to hospital for inhaling gas, locals said. They were identified as Zahreya Jaradat, 55, Muhannad Jaradat, 10, and Marouf Jaradat, 24.

There were no reports of arrests or serious injuries.
