HEBRON (Ma'an) -- The PA Health Ministry on Monday closed a yogurt factory in Hebron over health and safety concerns, an official said.
Local environmental health director Yasser Issa said inspectors and custom agents went to the factory to investigate after the department received complaints that it did not meet industry requirements.
"A heated argument erupted with the owner, and we had to call the police," Issa said.
Inspectors found the factory did not comply with health regulations and the owner did not have a license, he said, adding that a final decision would be made following further investigations.
