VIENNA (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian community in Austria gathered at the Palestinian consulate on Monday for the dawn Ramadan meal of Suhoor, a community leader said.

Palestinian Ambassador to Austria Zuhari al-Wazir took part in the ceremony, together with a number of Arab institutions and Palestinian community representatives, community leader Munther Pasture told Ma'an.

The meal was entitled: "Support our steadfast Palestinians in Syrian camps."

There are around 3,000 Palestinians in the Austrian diaspora and an estimated 100,000 in the European Union.
