Bethlehem - Ma’an - A memorandum calling for the rejection of the Fatah Central Committee elections finalized Wednesday will be delivered to Fatah leader and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Friday, sources in the party said.

Prominent Fatah figures in the West Bank and Gaza prepared a statement condemning the announced results of the party’s ruling body, and listed a dozen party policy violations that affected the outcome of the votes.

The memo, signed by an unknown number of prominent Fatah members, will be delivered to Abbas Friday following prayers.

Syria and Jordan, it is obvious to me that the two state solution will not happen, cannot happen, and would not provide justice and peace if it were to happen. It is time for the Palestinians to demand one man one vote in one state for Jews and Arabs. This is what brought liberty to South Africa.
