PA slams 'Israeli leniency' toward racial incitement

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Authority on Tuesday slammed Israel's leadership for failing to distance itself from increasing episodes of racial incitement in the Netanyahu government.

PA spokesman Ghassan Khatib termed an Israeli parliament member's statements, which the official said called for killing hundreds of Palestinians, "pure racist incitement that goes uncared for by the Israeli government.

"We call on Israel to put an end to inciting statements calling for the killing and demonizing Palestinians by public figures," he said in a statement.

According to Khatib, Knesset member Michael Ben Ari, responding to a report indicating that six Palestinians have been killed for ever one Israeli in the past 10 years, said Monday that “For every one dead on our side, we need to kill 500 and not six.”

The issue of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit has "taught us that an Israeli soldier is worth hundreds of murderous terrorists, and according to the Arab method as well. Therefore assassination of 6,000 enemies and their supporters is a small amount and is not enough in a war against brutal enemy who does not value human life."

He added, the statement reported, that in order to eradicate terrorism “for every one dead on our side, we need to kill 500 and not six, and make the imprisonment conditions of the terrorists equal to the dark hole of Gilad Shalit.”

Khatib, the PA spokesman, said that in a state of law, Ben Ari would have been sued.

"Yet, Israel shows leniency to incitement by official figures including the spiritual leader of Shas, Rav Ovadia Yosef, who said that Palestinians 'should perish from this world' and that 'God should strike Palestinians with a plague'," Khatib said.

which is something they promised to fight as part of the Oslo Accords!!

The PA should make their wishes to the prayer leaders in the Mosques, who are invaiably inciting their parishoners to act violently against Israel

1,2,3) Oh my brothers, don't you see that we are destroying ourselves from within? The Palestinians are our cousins and we must make peace with them. I think you three need to meditate...close your eyes and repeat my name 10 times out loud and you will find inner healing.

BEN JABO the Muslim. You have been in the mosques and personally heard these imams inciting the Palestinians. It's a dream of yours BEN JABO. The racists in the area are the Israelis, and they are dripping with hate. It shows in the murder statistics.
