Police train on youth cases in Jericho

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Police completed on Thursday a three week course in the new Jericho training school on how to handle offenses by minors.
Thirty-two officers from the West Bank, including eleven female police officers, were trained in child psychology, provisions of torture, defensive tactics, legal aspects of cases involving juveniles, first aid and interrogation techniques, a statement from the EU police mission said.
The training was funded by the the Netherlands and EU representative offices and the UN.
