PA: Israel re-arrests prisoner after swap deal
Published Thursday 08/12/2011 (updated) 13/12/2011 12:44
TULKAREM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained Thursday one of the prisoners who was released in the latest prisoners swap deal, the ministry of prisoners’ affairs said.

The ministry said soldiers detained Ayed Muhammad Khalil from Qaffin village in Tulkarem with his brother and sister in law after they were stopped at a flying checkpoint.

The ministry condemned the arrest, saying it was a clear violation of the agreement between Israel and Hamas, the first stage of which was carried out in October. The second part is to be carried out within weeks.

The ministry urged Egypt and the negotiators to fully implement the deal.

The Israeli military did not return calls.

Clear violation, shmear violation. Since when is Israel obliged to respect the agreements it signs?

Be Fari:
1- BOTH sides MADE COMMITMANTS to the other.
2- HAMAS is also "obliged to respect the agreements it signs,"
but it never made a cease-fire agreement that it could keep, and
3- Just like Hamas, Ayed Muhammad Khalil probably could NOT keep
his part of the agreement, and he engaged in actions that were
"a clear violation of the agreement between Israel and Hamas",
in which case his freedom is NOT guaranteed, &
his arrest would NOT be a violation of the agreement !!!

@4: don't you know Israel is supposed to commit suicide so foreign left wingers can go on to their next project of civilizational destruction? Israel is not supposed to arrest anyone ever, have an army, defend itself, shoot back and so on. But I think we will have to go on disappointing the left wing. They can concentrate on destroying their own countries.

To business #5 '@4: don't you know Israel is supposed to commit suicide so foreign left wingers can go on to their next project of civilizational destruction? ' This is kind of an oxymoron. Israel is the antithesis of civilization. Members of an otherwise highly-cultured people seize land belonging to others and proceed to start acting like baboons.

To @ Colin #2 #3 '2- HAMAS is also "obliged to respect the agreements it signs," but it never made a cease-fire agreement that it could keep' You have got to be kidding. EVERY ceasefire that is signed breaks down when Israel starts deliberately killing Palestinians in order to bait the Palestinians into a response. I mean, why bother to post what you did? I know it's a lie; you know it's a lie. What's the point?

I should apologize for my last remark but one. It was blatantly baboonist. I have no reason to think that baboons are not highly cultured animals who do in fact successfully adhere to a perfectly laudable set of moral principles.

To Izzy #4 'Wait a secod. Just because israel released someone does that mean he cant be rearested???' If he hasn't committed any new offenses, no, they can't. Or at any rate, can't anywhere in the extra-Israel universe. Note that the IDF failed to specify what if any offense dude had committed. Fairly obviously, they are just reasserting their ability to seize and carry off anyone, anywhere, anytime, whether or not they've done anything. It's a message to the helots: Sparta is still here.

how do you expect us to trace terrorists and collaborators?

Ofcourse they did!!! Hamas made a big mistake to even think they could trust those criminal occupiers. How can you make an agreement with someone killing and murdering your people day in and day out.....I really hope Hamas learns from this big mistake. NEVER EVER TRUST THEM!!!!!

First, Hamas terrorists MUST trust themselves! How can you ever trust yourself if you "live-a-lie"? Liars have one huge handicapping condition -- they begin to believe their own lies!! The truth then, forever evades the liar's comprehension. Life is no longer "living", just surviving because it is based on the denial of reality. Survival comes at the price of one big lie after another. Liars cannot enjoy the reward of paradise.
