TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian court has sentenced a man from Tulkarem to 15 years in prison for killing his uncle, general prosecution officials said Tuesday.

The crime took place in Bala village in Tulkarem in 2004, officials said.

The attacker, a 21-year-old who was not otherwise identified, was convicted of shooting his uncle in the head, killing him on the spot.

Police concluded the motive was related to a property dispute.
