QALQILIA (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian detainees center and ministry of prisoners affairs held a sit-in demonstration in support of hunger-striking prisoner Hana Shalabi on Monday evening.

Shalabi's brother and PLC members took part in the protest to support the female detainee, who is protesting the practice of administrative detention and has refused food for 20 days.

At the protest, PLC member Walid Assaf called for further support to Shalabi, and his conviction she will succeed in her goals.
