SALFIT (Ma’an) -- Settlers entered the West Bank town of Kifl Haris early Wednesday accompanied by the army, witnesses told Ma'an.

Locals said that around 30 military vehicles entered the Salfit village at dawn to provide settlers access to a site revered by Jews as the burial site of Joshua.

An Israeli military spokesman did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.

The Settlers entered the West Bank town of Kifl Haris because
the town is built on ancient Jewish land around the Tomb of Joshua.
And, the Kifl Haris situation is NO exception, where the West Bank towns of
- Schem/Nablus (Tomb of Joseph, Well of Jacob/Yacoub),
- Hebron (Tomb of Abraham/Ibrahim and the other Patriarchs),
- Silwan/Jerusalem (City of David/Dawood, Temple of Solomon), and
- Bethlehem (Birth place of David/Dawood) are all built on/around
ANCIENT JEWISH LANDS !!!!

re #1 'Stolen' Comic. 'Stolen' refers to 'tombs' that can be demonstrated to date to no earlier than two millenia after the alleged dead died , and claims a Jewish presence existing before anything recognizable as Judaism can be shown to have existed. These people are pathological liars, killing and stealing in the name of demonstrable falsehoods. It's so evil it's almost absurd. If this were fiction, people would say it was exaggerated and overdrawn. It'd be totally implausible.

The 'ancient Jewish lands' were -- arguably -- such for maybe five hundred years -- from when something recognizable as Judaism emerged around 300-400 BC to when the faith lost out to Christianity et al. During that time, the region never became entirely Jewish, and was almost invariably politically and culturally dominated by its successive Persian, Greek, and Roman masters. That Palestine is somehow 'Jewish' is close to complete nonsense.

What a shame they arrived to find the tomb once again had been desecrated The inner walls of the holy structure were painted with a large swastika and nationalist PA graffiti was spray-painted in Arabic.

The only 'Israel' that has ever existed in the sense of a completely independent, completely Jewish state is the modern one -- and that is an abomination, created by an act of robbery by a coalition of immigrants with no claim whatsoever to what they were taking.

Well now the land is dominated by its Jewish masters and that is exactly how we like it and are going to keep it. You can go give California to Mexico and Massachusetts to the eastern woodland Indians if you feel so badly about it. We wont stop you, or better yet, since most Americans are perfectly sane, you go give your house to the Cherokee or whomever, and go back to the EU if they will have you. I myself dont think America is an abomination, but have it your way.

The Book of Joshua tells the history of the Israelite conquest of Canaan,
followed by the division of the conquered land among the twelve tribes
(NOW THERE'S A STATE); and then a warning of the need for faithful obedience of the Law/Torah revealed to Moses
(NOW THERE'S A RELIGION), and which took place about 1,300 BCE
(about 1,000 YEARS BEFORE YOU SAY), and Israel/Judea existed as an independant state, or a province of greater empires, until the Romans destroyed the 2nd Temple in 70 CE.
