Astrology can be a very useful tool to help people understand the things that are happening around them and to them. It connects us to the motions of the planets relative to ourselves, and therefore to nature at large. To think that this has no impact on our lives seems rather narrow minded and is typical of the attitudes of people who would rather believe that there is this guy who lives in the sky and has a beard (and apparently a penis too) and gets really angry.

before the violent religions flourished (judaism, christianity and islam) what we now call paganism was the normal, nothing to do with hinduism (shirley! you need to do some research!). These people who observed nature and lived harmoniously with it were brutally killed by the yahweh worshippers (the god of the 3 faiths is a war god) and persecuted by them. Wise women were burned by the thousands as witches, and the connection to nature eroded as humanity became civilised.

LOL! Aussie shirley, you can't really be that uneducated? Man,you've been hanging out with sheep & woolly-b8#@&ers for 2 long LOL! You must go back to school &read ancient history, multicultural science/legend &maybe improve your English Grammar too? You can't separate Paganism from monotheism, they both mapped their course,in the sky & on land,in the stars, galaxy&earth.Whether you believe in 'one God' or many gods,we are ALL made of the heavens, stars, dust&COSMIC energy.Ask the Aborigines!

@1) Shirley/Australia, VERY GOOD comment and VERY well-said. @ 2) Ali/Jordan, Is that so ??? ... So the next time you see your local ass-trologer, be sure you bring your local psychiatrist, too. That way at least 1 of the 3 of you won't be crazy. @ 6) Mel/USA, No, she's not that uneducated ... she's VERY educated. Anyone who says you can't separate paganism from monotheism means they're basically connected and can't be disassociated from each other. Hmmmmm ... Like you and stupidity ???
