RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Fatah on Monday accused Hamas of detaining militant leader John Misleh and called for his immediate release.

Misleh is a leader in the Fatah-affiliated al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades. He was detained by Hamas authorities as he returned to Gaza from Egypt on Sunday, Fatah said.

Fatah holds Hamas responsible for Misleh's life, a party statement said.

"His arrest by Hamas is a violation of human and civil rights," Fatah spokesman Fayez Abu Eita said.

"We need to be united and in harmony to confront the aggression and protect our people from the collective massacres committed by Israel," Abu Eita added.

While israels behavior is horrific and genocidal. This reckless violent country, israel, has nuclear bombs. israel threatens to bomb anyone they disagree with. israel threatens Iran on a daily basis. israeli proponents have even said it is a good idea to assassinate the Pres of US if it benefits israel. Can you think of a worse country to have nuclear arms?

1. I cannot. But the real story here is that Fatah is like Nero fiddling while Rome burned. Earth to "Fatah spokesman," Fayez Abu Eita, "Hello. You are under occupation."

Iran loves to execute prisoners (executed 670 people in 2011). Hamas loves Iran. Ergo... (therefore...)
