BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Twenty police officers from around the West Bank have received training on interview techniques in Jericho, an EU mission to improve law and order said Tuesday.
The week-long course was conducted by UK expert Detective Superintendent Christopher Sharman from Northumbria Police, EUPOL COPPS said in a statement.
Trainees were shown theoretical material on techniques to interview victims and suspects that meet international standards and performed role-play exercises, the statement said.
