We (understandably) are not going to get any traction appealing for Pollard's release any time soon/foreseeable future. It was VERY WRONG and STUPID of us to enlist him for spying against the U.S. As I understand it (someone always correct me if I'm wrong), at the time of discovery of our/his crime, no American Jewish organization came to our/his defense by trying to advocate for us/him to justify/excuse what we/he did and none do so even today. It was embarrassing as hell and remains (cont.)

so. Although we deeply apologized to the U.S., apologies for spying simply put more egg on our face. Our government was also caught spying on Russia some years ago (also very bad and we again apologized but what the hell ??? ... it just made more dumb asses of us again).
