NABLUS (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces escorted a group of around 1,200 Israelis to pray at a Jewish site in the West Bank city of Nablus on Monday night, locals said.
The group entered Joesph's Tomb near Balata refugee camp under heavy military protection, residents said.
Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Raed Jiaan, 15, from Balata, during the tour, before returning him to the Palestinian Authority, they added.
An Israeli military spokesman said there had been a military-escorted tour to the site, and a Palestinian who hurled rocks at Israeli soldiers was held before being transferred to Palestinian security.
