JENIN (Ma'an) -- The Governor of Jenin Qaddura Musa died of a heart attack on Wednesday morning. He was 60 years old.
Musa arrived at Jenin government hospital in the early hours suffering heart pains, and died in intensive care, the hospital said.
A funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, including a military convoy before his burial in a Jenin cemetery.
Musa was one of the founders of the Fatah movement in Jenin. He worked as journalist for a number of Fatah and PLO publications, including Al-Fajr newspaper, and founded the first political media office in Jenin.
