Shaath meets British MP, Norwegian envoy
Published Monday 21/05/2012 20:46
RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Senior Fatah official Nabil Shaath on Sunday held separate meetings with British MP Hugo Swire and Norway's envoy to the peace process, his office said.

Shaath discussed the political situation in the region and told the officials that Israeli policies demonstrated that its government was not serious about reaching a peace agreement. Israel continues to confiscate Palestinian land, change the facts on the ground and Judaize Jerusalem, he said, according to a statement from his office.

He also told the officials that Israel continued to violate international law in its treatment of Palestinian prisoners.

The international community must push Israel to stop settlement expansion, noting that ongoing construction was destroying the possibility of a two-state solution, Shaath added.

Mr Nabil? Please define what U mean by 'international community'? There's the 'international community' of USG & its client lackies(who daren't stand up to D.C.,World Bank/IMF money-launderers).Then,there's the GLOBAL community, who sees that the ideological CAUSE of USG,UKG,AIPAC's expansionist Zionism(& its proxy Israel)is having a domino EFFECT on Europe&its macro-economy.Just as Nazism did around its own Euro/Russian 'lebensraum' too.Don't confuse D.C.'s 'chop-shop'with wider global opinion!
