RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli bulldozers demolished residential tents of Palestinian families in al-Jihesh valley south of Yatta, a local activist told the Palestinian Authority's official news agency Wednesday.

Wafa quoted Rateb al-Jabour as saying soldiers accompanied by policemen and members of the Israeli civil administration raided the area with heavy machinery and destroyed six tents housing over 30 people.

Forces also demolished an animal barn in Khirbet al-Rahweh, Wafa reported.
