BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces seized a Palestinian man in Bethlehem on Wednesday morning, after detaining five people across the West Bank overnight, witnesses and security officials said.

Shadi Maali, in his 30s, was detained in central Bethlehem, onlookers said. Troops also raided the Car Rental Company and Fawanees sweets shop, confiscating a computer and hardware from surveillance cameras, they said.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said she would look into the incident.

Meanwhile, she said forces detained five people in the central West Bank overnight, in Ramallah villages Shuqba, Deir Abu Mashal, Kharbatha al-Misbah, and two people in Azzun, near Qalqiliya.
