JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces seized at least three Palestinians near Ramallah and Hebron and raided a prisoner's home in the northern West Bank, residents said Thursday.
Locals said two men were arrested from Yamoun and Araba villages near Jenin and soldiers broke into a former prisoner's home in Tora village, where they questioned him.
Moaed Ahmad Jaradat was detained after soldiers searched his house in Yamoun, and patrolled the streets afterward under heavy fire, residents said.
At Araba junction south of Jenin, soldiers arrested Mohamad Jardan after erecting a barrier on the road. When Jardan approached, they stopped him and took him to an unknown destination.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said three Palestinians were detained overnight, but she said the arrests were of two people in Aram village near Ramallah and another in Beit Awa in Hebron.
Residents said soldiers broke into the home of Amjad Abadi, a released prisoner, in Tora village and questioned him for four hours. The soldiers withdrew without making any arrests.
