QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- Three children were treated for food poisoning in Qalqiliya on Wednesday after drinking expired fruit juice, a police statement said.

Police said that they were called after the children were admitted to an emergency room in the northern West Bank city.

Officers raided the supermarket where the juice was purchased. They confiscated 18 bottles of out-of-date juice and opened legal proceedings against the shop owner.
