BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Dozens of Israeli settlers on Wednesday blocked the main road leading to Tuqu village near Bethlehem.

Settlers piled rocks on the road and threw stones at Palestinian cars, preventing them from leaving or entering the village, a Ma'an correspondent said.

The settlers were shouting racist chants and were protected by Israeli soldiers, the reporter added.

There is a paragraph from the Bishop of Jerusalem in the 640s complaining that the Saracens had blocked the road to Bethlehem. The Saracens are what they called Arabs, a somewhat mysterious name. In the end, it was a sign of things to come.

I used to believe that peace would come and a 2 state solution I now only hope that someday these animal "settlers " (land thieves) have to live under occupation .

So were the Saracens of 642 illegal squatters and land thieves also? They came in and blocked the road to Bethlehem. It is recorded in a Christmas sermon.
