GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Four children were injured on Saturday when an abandoned ordnance exploded in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.

The minors, all from the Abu Muharib family, were treated for moderate and light wounds at at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Medics said the children were hurt when the ordnance detonated near their house east of Deir al-Balah, about a kilometer from the border fence with Israel.
