Hamas lawmaker dies of stroke in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Parliamentary deputy Jamal Skaik has died in the Gaza Strip after he suffered a stroke, his party announced on Saturday.

Skaik, aged 66, had been hospitalized in Gaza City's Shifa hospital after he fell ill. He was a member of the Hamas-affiliated Change and Reform Bloc.
