JERUSALEM (Ma’an) -- President Mahmoud Abbas met on Friday with King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia to discuss the Palestinian Authority's financial crisis.

The PA has been unable to pay government salaries for the last month, citing large debts and the failure of donors to deliver aid.

Abbas headed to Saudi Arabia because "it has always been supportive to the PA at all levels," PLO Secretary-General Yasser Abed Rabbo said on Wednesday, adding that the PA was planning delegations to other Arab countries to seek a way out of their financial crisis.

After meeting with the king in Jeddah, Abbas also met former Lebanese prime minister Saad al-Hariri to discuss efforts towards peace between regional countries and Israel.

(Abdullah) 'And where are U from again'?
(Abbas) 'Palestine,your majesty. Remember? The 3rd Holiest site in Islam?Occupied by Zionists(our "BFF"s)since 1947?'
(Abdullah) O,I've never been there,is it nice? But I do send you money right? You're not Hamas?
(Abbas)No,your majesty,we keep them locked up in Gaza, still, since they won a democratic vote!

Hussein: Instead of bugging me for more money every time, what don’t you ask Suha Arafat to give you some. I understand she is leading a life of complete luxury and comfort in Europe. Abbas: But, but, your majesty she needs that money to maintain her lifestyle. I cannot be cruel to the wife of our late president. Besides she told me that her husband earned every penny of it.
