RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Authority Ministry of National Economy said on Sunday it had sent inspectors to withdraw Israeli milk cartons from West Bank vendors after the company discovered they had been contaminated.

Israeli producer Tnuva announced last week that 1-liter cartons of 3 percent milk with an expiry date of Aug. 22, 2012 had been contaminated by cleaning liquids.

The PA Ministry asked Palestinians to dispose of any cartons they have already purchased, and contact the Ministry helpline if they find any being sold on 170 0300 300.
