BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Three rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel on Sunday morning, Israel's army said.

Two rockets hit the Eshkol region, and another in Metivot, an army spokesman said. No injuries or damage were reported.

Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip hit two factories in Sderot a week ago, and on Friday damaged a house in the same Israeli city.

On Wednesday Israel shelled two compounds in Gaza City, injuring two women, according to medical officials.

The Israeli army said the targets were weapons manufacturing and storage sites and that they were hit in retaliation for the rockets.
