GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Gaza prime minister Ismail Haniyeh received a phone call from Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki in support of Gaza amid Israeli airstrikes on the coastal enclave, Haniyeh's office said Thursday.
Marzouki told Haniyeh that Tunisia fully supports the Palestinian people and leadership in Gaza.
Fifteen Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since an airstrike killed a senior Hamas commander on Wednesday. Three Israelis died early Thursday when a rocket fired from Gaza hit a house in south Israel.
