EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma’an) -- Five Palestinians injured in Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip entered Egypt on Sunday for treatment, medics and security officials said.

Khader Farahat 24, and Nahed Ahmad Ya’qoub 24, both of whom have had right legs amputated, were evacuated by ambulance.

A young Palestinian girl, who was not identified, is in a serious condition after bleeding to her brain, medics said.

Also transferred were Gamal Ghazi Suliman, 20, suffers from abdominal bleeding and liver laceration and Islam Khaled al-Bagesi, 18, whose wounds were not specified.

Medics says around 740 people have been wounded in Israel's bombardment of Gaza since Wednesday.
