BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Residents heard a blast in southern Israeli city Eilat on Monday morning for the second day in a row, Israeli media reported, but the army said there was no sign of a rocket.

The Israeli news site Ynet reported an explosion was heard in the coastal resort.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said there was no sign a rocket had been launched at the city, and the incident related to a security problem involving Ministry of Defense workers. Israeli police said an accident had taken place.
