JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday shot and injured a Palestinian teenager trying to cut part of the separation wall in the northern West Bank.

Yazid Tawfiq Abu al-Rub, 17, was shot in the foot and Omar Abu al-Rub was detained, a Ma'an reporter said.

They were trying to cut part of a fence in the separation wall surrounding Jalbun villiage.

That'll teach them to resist! Way to go Israel! Shame on these lads for having the audacity to cut part of a separation wall confining them.

Interesting how on Planet Israel, the inexcusable becomes ordinary. Leaving aside the inequities and illegalities of the wall itself, attacking it is at most an act of vandalism. When ordinary police on ordinary planets catch teenagers committing vandalism, they try to catch them and arrest them. Or they fail and the teenagers run off. They don't SHOOT them. That becomes normal only in the context of Israel.

- The West Bank's Palestinians earned the Wall for themselves, with their own "inexcusable illegalities of murder and terror, like - The Gaza Strip's Palestinians earned te Blockade and Operation Cast Lead for themselves, with their own "inexcusable illegalities of war crimes.
