GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Palestinian travelers are stranded in Arab and international airports as Rafah crossing is closed for the fourth day in a row due to unrest in Egypt, officials said Monday.

Travelers said Egyptian airlines were refusing to let Palestinians board due to the inability to continue traveling to Gaza through Rafah, which is controlled by Egyptian security authorities.

Maher Abu Sabha, general director of crossings, told Ma’an that the crossing was closed on both sides for the fourth day in a row. He said communication at the highest level were ongoing to reopen it.

And the Egyptian immigration officers are deporting Palestinians who arrive on other airlines, despite them having a transit visa. This is a completely unacceptable breach of their rights. Where is the UN?

Mr Abu Sabha! With respect, just OPEN THE F***** gates,& let these CIVILIAN men, women, children HOME for Ramadan. This is not unusual! Palestinians in Gaza get treated like the Jews by Nazi's! It's a horrible collusion between Israel,EGIS & ignored by USG! Imagine it was reversed & Egyptian families were blocked,by Hamas, waiting for days in the heat, sleeping outside on boxes, suitcases, bribing guards just to get H20. How "high"a "level"of human compassion is that?LET THEM THRU!

No doubt the EU, UNWRA, BDS and the local international Arab communities abroad, are all donating their ardent support and supplying money, food, hotels, and clothes for these travelers in need, as is the custom.

The Zionist entity is nothing but an illegal colonialist excrescence, but it is better than Hamas and Egypt.

...the Egyptians hate the Palestinians....why?..they had to deal with them when they ran gaza...hard feelings....then those wars fought for the Palestinians...no thanks for the Egyptian sacerfice and terrible losses.....finally the Egyptians consider themselves an ancient people..with class and power....and the Palestinians as bunch of desert mutts...a royal pain...treating them with harsh disdain...Jordan..Syria..Lebanon and Iraq are hardly any better...what's funny is that Israel is better
