Israeli forces opened fire on a group of farmers near Gaza
City, witnesses say.
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian farmer in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, locals said.

Witnesses told Ma'an that Israeli forces stationed east of Gaza City opened fire at a group of farmers in the area, injuring one person.

Medics said the man was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said that "lately there have been several incidents adjacent to the Israel-Gaza security fence. IDF soldiers operate in the area in order to prevent infiltrations endangering the civilians of southern Israel."

Israel's military is currently looking into reports of the incident, she added.

On Monday, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man they said had approached a border fence in the Gaza Strip.

Huwayshel Hawajira, 36, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights, an NGO based in Gaza, condemned an "excessive use of lethal force" by the Israeli army, adding artillery shells had also been heard hitting near where the two men were shot.

On August 11, Israeli troops also shot dead a man on the border with Gaza, with the military saying he had been seen behaving suspiciously in an area close to the border fence.

'An Israeli army spokeswoman said there was no "unusual activity" along the Gaza border.' Note that this statement does not conflict in any way with Israeli soldiers shooting anyone they can hit. Such activity is indeed not unusual.

..."What do you want to ask the Israeli Forces? October 2, 2013 The Israeli Forces (AKA the IDF) have said they are open to ‘burning questions’ on twitter all day today (Wednesday 2nd October). All you need to do is tweet including the #AskIDF.... " (www.Palestinecampaign.org) - Apparently anyone who would like to know why 'the most moral army in the world' killed a Palestinian in Gaza yesterday or wounded a farmer in Gaza today, or has any other questions & uses Twitter, feel free to: #AskIDF

The rest of the world perceives that the most "unusual activity" taking place in any Israeli-occupied area,is the constant ILLEGAL "activiity"of Israel's military using unarmed Palestinian CIVILIANS as target practice when they are bored! NOT KOSHER,Israel. To Israel, these "activities" may be usual. But to all else, they are legally recognized "cruel, unusual, indecent punishment",except by USG,Israel's patron! "fense"parkbear, IDF terrorists should apply to Netanyahu for a shooting gallery to keep his terrorist soldiers happy instead of using Palestinian people for target practice!

Israel has made it abundantly clear that Palestinians in Gaza must stay away from the fence. The only people that do go to the fence are Hamas, PIJ, or like-minded terrorists intent on attacking Israel. So, very simple, if you don't want to get shot, don't go to the place where Israel has promised to shoot you.

The man was NO "FARMER", by he was given a warning, as if he was, and still he tried to harm the Security Fence.

It sounds so innocuously pastoral, eh? "Israeli forces shot and injured a nonstate arab farmer." What isn't being reported here? What were the alleged 'farmer' & his cronies doing near the border? Harvesting? Preparing soil for the next crop? Seeding? Hardly! Most likely it looked like more hate filled terrorism, it may even have sounded like hate filled terrorism. Why it may even have been intended to be hate filled terrorism! If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

People play games. States or authorities do too, but Israel plays the "Game of Attack & Defend" much easier than it's Palestinian opponent, so: - If Palestinians want to continue the game, - Then if will played for a very long time !!
